About Jerry Weinert and Jill Bielawski

Jill Bielawski and Jerry Weinert met at a NCBTMB symposium in 1995. In a discussion of their professional goals and objectives Jerry and Jill found surprising similarities and the dynamic vision of Southwest Wellness Educators was created. Their easy ability to connect with their seminar participants enables the audience to learn new concepts with ease and reinforce those previously learned. Bielawski and Weinert's seminars are dynamic, interactive and motivational.

Jill Bielawski

Jill Bielawski, B.S., NCTMB has been in education for over twenty years. Coming from a university background of vocational rehabilitation, special education and a bodywork background of massage therapy and shiatsu, Jill brings a well-rounded, versatile approach to her practice and teaching. Incorporating innovative ideas and group interaction, she approaches her teaching with an energetic style guiding the participants to new levels of achievement. She has been on faculty at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, Tucson, AZ, since 1989 and affiliated with the University of Arizona athletic teams for over three years. Jerry Weinert

Jerry Weinert, R.N., NCTMB, brings a unique and good humored perspective to his teaching and clinical practice. From his nursing background as a crisis counselor, coordinator of a pain management program, and work in physical medicine and rehabilitation, he effectively blends these experiences with his teaching and massage and bodywork practice. A faculty member at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ, since 1995, Jerry has also developed several hospital-based patient education programs. He is a former Director of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and has served on several Boards for community-based health promotion programs.
